Dear Respected Friends and Relatives,
Four Worlds/Four Directions International, the Native Investment and Trade Association (NITA), and the Carib Chief and Council of the Commonwealth of Dominica, warmly invite you to join us at the Indigenous Action Summit to be held on the beautiful island of Dominica, February 25-March 2, 2002. The Action Summit will be held in partnership with the Governments of Canada and Dominica.
The Action Summit will provide an excellent opportunity to meet and develop joint business, cultural and social development initiatives with Indigenous peoples across the Americas. A primary thrust of the Summit will be to model collaborative development initiatives designed to move iNdigenous populations toward greater levels of well-being, prosperity and dignity, in partnership with their respective governments, non-government organizations and business communities. Featured presentations will include the Canadian International Development Agency's (CIDA) new Indigenous Peoples Partnership Program (IPPP).
The beautiful Island of Dominica, known as the "Nature Island", where you can drink directly from the Island's 365 streams and rivers, has a warm and loving people, a 95% literacy rate and a wide variety of natural foods contribute to Dominica having more people over the age of 100 years per capita, than any other nation on Mother Earth.
